If you have a passion for soccer and an even deeper passion for youth development, you may want to consider a part time assignment as a trainer with ZenFooty Soccer Academy. The ZenFooty marketing and sales team generates all of the leads and new business while your role would be to teach youth players the beautiful game using proven activities and drills provided by the ZenMaster, Ed Hawkins. Highlights for the role include:
Dribbling and Ball Control You will teach youth players how to receive the ball and maintain control on the move using all surfaces of the foot. Using the ZenTouch ™ method, you will instruct them on the multiple ways to change speed and direction and apply fakes and deception to protect the ball and gain advantage. Passing and Distribution You will teach children about the concepts of ball distribution including the weight, flight patter, and direction of the pass. You will also instruct the children on concepts such as one-touch passing, two-touch passing, through passes, passing triangles and much more. Shooting and Finishing You will instruct youth players on the proper methods of shooting including the instep drive, head shot, near post deflections, shooting off the dribble and many other important techniques used in shooting and finishing. Physical Fitness As a member of the ZenFooty BreakFast Club, you will demonstrate and instruct the children on the benefits of physical fitness and further reinforce the importance of fitness in the quality of their game. Position Details The position is paid on an hourly basis with a rate that depends on experience level. Hours are flexible and can be organized into blocks of two to four hours between 9:00 AM to 8:00PM throughout the summer and into the fall. Desired Experience Individuals (men and women) who have played competitive club soccer, college soccer, and adult league are encouraged to inquire. Special high-school players will be considered if they have the right skill set and demeanor. Coaching licenses and certifications are a plus but not required.
